Introduction
Having trained in the Army Catering Corps back in the 1970s, my background does involve cooking. These days everyone is on a budget and familys often have little money or time for cooking meals. Having tried and tested these meals on my family`s, one of 3, one of 5 and another of 3, they have been most welcomed and enjoyed by all.
So with approxamately £7 in my pocket, I have manged to buy ingrediants to amke the meals, which I have featured. In all it has cost about £5 and in some cases less. In order to keep costs and time factor to a minimum, some of my recipes consist of ready prepared ingrediants; eg. pastry or sauce. Otherwise I have used mainly fresh ingrediants.
I have given some hints and tips in making other meals for your week, that you can prepare the day before or even put into your freezer for later.
I offer simply cooked, Basic recipes with no frills or fancy bits. So why not give them a go and let me know what you think.
